NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer

Ok, I have been dying to give the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer a try. I must say I did love it but it was not perfect and can't be the staple product I was hoping it could become. I think maybe I should just use a moisturizer or primer with SPF in it and add foundation to that to avoid that weird cast higher SPFs can give the skin. Any suggestions? I know I should keep it below 20 when taking photos.
